Converged Data Intelligence: Foundations

A framework for reading physical and cyber security data through multiple analytical lenses.

DraftBy Ramani ViswanathanJune 202630 min read

Abstract

This white paper formalizes the theoretical foundations of Converged Data Intelligence: a methodology for reading physical and cyber security data through five analytical lens families and twenty-two specific lenses simultaneously. It argues that single-discipline analysis is structurally insufficient for converged data, and demonstrates why simultaneity matters. The paper includes formal definitions of the eight-stage data lifecycle, the six gap types, and the five lens families, with illustrative examples from field engagements.
